It's bad and expected to get worse. The are evacuating Pomerado Hospital where us "Callery Kids" had surgery. My sister in north Poway has been evacuated and I know of at least one of our stapler "sisters" who have been evacuated. Please keep these people and all the others in danger in your prayers. I work in Kearny Mesa and got sent home at 9 but have my radio on me for my techs to reach me. It's very scary, and man does it feel like '03 all over again. Stay safe all my so cal peeps.

I am sitting here at work worrying about all of you down there. I was there in '03 and remember how horrible it was.
My Grandaughter in Coronado called me to make sure we were OK. She is 11 and really scared about everyone she knows and wants to make sure we're all OK. The kids don't have a good sense of distance when they hear about these things. The Coronado schools are closed because of the air quality.
Everyone stay safe and make sure you leave immediately if they tell you to. Remember you are the most important thing, not any material things!
Good Luck! Our firefighters are on their way down to help!!

My parents are on "standby" right now. This is going to get fun. Of course they will come to my house. I WOULND'T have it any other way, but we are in the process of moving so there's boxes all over the place. There is 4 of us my parents make 6 2 dogs and a cat. OH JOY! Should make for a fun week. The good thing is my Mommy will cook dinner! Sorry just trying to bring a little humor to a bad thing.
I hope everyone stays safe, and all though I already have a house full I can take more in if I need to!

Ohhhh, I just came home from work to see the fire in the Lake Arrowhead area....it's a place my husband and I go quite often to a friend's cabin..

All of this is very heartbreaking and I pray all those affected by the fires are safe.
