Question Question of the week 2/28/05

Hey folks! Another week, another question, I thought this when was good considering the Oscars were just on... here ya go!

What's the absolute all-time worst movie you've ever seen?

BTW had to update from the last question of the week. Totally ironic my answer and what has occured since then. My son had emotional illnesses, and last week on Thursday he was admitted into the hospital after a hellacious past few weeks. Anyways my ex husbad has been so kind, wonderful, helpful and generous since then. Things have been really good between us and has been flexible and willing to accomodate. Anyways I just wanted to share the irony between the question and what happened since then. Elijah is still inthe hospital doing well and I am doing okay. TTFN

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment." Thumbs down Movie

The worst movie I have ever seen is Out of Africa. Now I know some people LOVED that movie, but I was in Junior Highschool when my friends and I went to see it, and we all fell asleep. Nuns On The Run was also horrible. We walked out of that one.
Bridget I hope that everything is OK with your son. Call me if you need anything.

Thumbs down Lots of Them

Geez...there are so many!

One of the worst movies I had to sit through was 1982's "The Thing" remake by director John Carpenter. I HATE gory movies and it was GORRRRRRY. At one point, I jumped and screamed so badly that I dumped a large ice-cold soft drink into my boyfriend's crotch. It was NOT pretty.

Another one of my all-time worst movies was 1987's "Who's That Girl?" starring Madonna. I saw it on my birthday, walked out of the theatre after about 10 minutes, and got a refund. It sucked really badly!

In regards to recent movies, the worst I've seen in quite a while was "Hero." It was two hours of torture. The cinematography was quite beautiful, but the movie sucked!

Great question, Bridget!

Default How About The Best Movie??

The best movie I recently saw was "SHALL WE DANCE"

All three versions are great.

The Japanese version, the new Hollywood version w/ Richard Gere (yummy man that he is) and of course the original with Fred Astaire!!

Any one else care to devulge??

Rain

p.s. can you tell I'm a romantic?
