Terrible thing I can't remember the name of the movie I am thinking of. Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith. She was a secretary and caught on that he was a spy, they fell in love, she ends up being a spy and going over seas to be a spy for Michael Douglas. Set in the old War days. I have it on tape at home in San Diego.
That and Imitation of Life with Lana Turner. I have both movies taped on the same tape. Man! I can watch those two movies all day long and never tire of them.
Anything with Richard Gere is good. I was pregnant when his American Gigilo came out, and OMG, I absolutely craved designer sheets after that movie. I bought every beautiful sheet in the world in 1981.
My mom was a night owl. I used to go to school in the afternoon, so I could stay up late with mama. We watched the "Late Show" every night. I did her hair and rubbed lotion on her feet. There are so many, could never be one. I could sit here all day and name them. Just my favorite up there I can't remember!
Hugs, good question.

Worst Movie
A lot of people will disagree with me, but I hated Soul Plane.
I have a great sense of humor, but I found it insulting and demeaning to just about every race and gender. It was horrible and the message it sent to our youth was shamful. Just my opinion. Now just to show I'm not a fuddy duddy about movies I loved Badder Santa and White Chicks, both made me laugh my a** off.

Mary,
Chris Rock agrees with you. I haven't seen it, but I heard it was bad.

I think it was that christian science flick that Travolta did, Battleship Earth???? Luckily we rented it on DVD and didn't have to worry about walking out on a $9 movie. Just press eject and the pain is over
