Beth, I'm so happy to hear you're home and doing well! Take care of yourself, and be gentle!

Jeri, Nancy...thanks. I'm really doing ok with the pain. I'm still taking the Vicodan but not as often. I'm just getting really tired of the binder, pressure garment bra and the tender spots where the drains go in. I know it is important that they not come out too soon but I'm just getting tired of the irritation. Just a little weary in general tonight. I never took a nap today and I'm feeling it. I really should go and cuddle in my chair soon.

I'm hoping 2 drains will be out tomorrow and that maybe I will get permission to crawl into my own bed tomorrow night. I think I'm ready for my own bed.

For me, physically this surgery has been far more challenging than the wls. My energy level is totally shot but I'm sure it is because of the large area that he actually did surgery on. Dr Ford told my husband that he actually took off even more skin than he had originally marked. I'm curious to find out exactly how it all went when I go to my appointment tomorrow. I know he tightened my abdominal muscles but I'm curious how bad they really were.

Well thank you all for your support. As the pictures begin to look a wee less scary I'll share some of them with you. For right now there is a lot of swelling and bruising going on. I don't want to cause anyone to pass out on to the floor.

I will think about it Rain. Right now they are pretty rough looking and all I can say is they show it all. They are pretty much all natural. I do feel it is important for others to see the progression but I may have to figure out how to touch several of these up a bit or just do like Laura did and leave them for private showing only. I do have them presently in a private album that I have shared with a few.

I'll look through the panni ones and there may be a couple that I would feel comfortable sharing with the public.

I, for one, am looking forward to photos. I know getting both surgeries was such a big accomplishment for you...show your new body off! hehehe And I'm jealous that they didn't have to do the anchor incision on you... Those are probably the scars I hate most right now (although depending on what my body does as I continue to lose, maybe I'll get another revision of them...hopefully from a better plastic surgeon!!)
