Default Pre op vent - I hate shopping for clothes....

Just spent another frustrating 2 hours looking for pants to fit in my size (22 short) with no result. It's getting colder here in Germany so I wanted to get some new ones for work. I was really hoping to have my surgery by now so I wouldn't have to buy a bigger size but no date as of yet . In Berlin, they don't have too many shops that sell plus size unless I go to a boutique type of store but I didn't really want to spend that amount of money for my clothes at this point. So, will spend tonight going through my wardrobe and seeing if I can do without new clothes until surgery (hopefully late October).

Oh, on top of the frustration, I still have my wrist cast on so not the easiest thing to try on pants!!!

Come on surgery........

Hang in there, you will be on the losing side before you know it.
I am struggling with, keeping clothes that fit now that i am losing.

I"m not sure how it works over there but ebay can be a great place to get some deals. I know some people from the states will ship overseas as well as long as you don't mind paying the shipping cost. I'm not sure if it would work out money wise for you or not, but it might be worth looking into.

I hate it too... We're heading into another season, and I'm not sure what I have that'll fit me... and I refuse to buy anything new! Ugh! Once the pounds start coming off - I have enough in my closet to last me awhile - and believe me, I'll have a pitching party once I've ungrown what's there...

...whatta battle...

It doesn't get better for quite some time either. I looked forward to shopping, but until I got down well into the regular sizes, it was really emotional and difficult!

Hang in there....we all think its easy when you are smaller to shop...it is some, but not like you think it is!
