Unhappy 24 hour stay in Hospital

I was extremely ill on Friday. Vomitting and nausea the hole nine yards. I went right to the ER and they admitted me. My doctor did an EGD and found that I have swelling in the opening to my stomach. And that it is narrow. If it doesn't get better by the 6 weeks mark then at 6 weeks he will make the hole wider. So, clear fliuds it is for a little while. The other problem I seem to be having is I can only do one once at a time probably due to the narrowing. Furtunatly it wasn't so narrow I had to stay in the hospital til he could fix it. I was able to come home but still feel miserable. I gotta take it easy I guess.

Strictures. They suck. Had one myself. Go for the widening procedure. Makes all the difference in the world.

October 18 but I see him On october 2 So we will see what happens then. Hopefully it gets better sooner rather then later. They told me if the nausea continues or I start vomitting to come back. Fluids ya know. Can't get dehydrated. I'll do what the doctor orders.

Thumbs up

They "Balloon " you.The Dr will stretch your stoma and you should feel 100% better in a day or so.The only issue I had after multi strictures was dealing with a mild sore throat afterwards.

Feel better soon,

They won't cut you open again... it's done through a scope passed down your throat into your pouch...

Hope they fix you up quickly!!!
