It was rude but the 20 year old waitress rolling her eyes at the monks and showing total disrespect for the ceremony was just as bad. I am a Christian but would have never dissrepected their culture.

I totally agree. That woman should not have left. What I was trying to say is that they were both out of line & disrepectful.

Default Yup...

Yes, I would have cheerfully smacked the eye roller AND the one who ducked out of the ceremony... have a little respect for your host country. I might have had more sympathy had Jeff not clearly stated that it was NOT a religious ceremony, but a welcoming one...

I was hoping they would vote out Betty Big Boobs - call me jealous but I don't want to have to watch her bend over and practically fall out of her top for a whole another episode

I'd rather see her than the lady in her bra and underwear!

First, and most important to me ....

Melody, please accept my respect, admiration and thanks to you and your husband and family for the sacrifices you make as a military family. We are also a military family, my husband having served for 21 years as a Navy Pilot (with many many months at sea on an aircraft carrier).

About Survivor, I'm a total junkie, and love the feeling of this one. I think, as has been said, that the welcome ceremony has nothing whatsoever to do wth religion, no matter how it may have appeared, and even if it did, it deserved respect to other cultures. What difference is that from all of our Christian friends wanting to attend my grandson's Bar Mitzvah in synagogue. It is a sign of respect and honoring another culture in both cases.

And not surprised about Chicken. His strategy was not smart. But it's true that his outdoors experience would have been very helpful in the future.

So, how are you all enjoying the show?

Lots on "Entertainment Tonight" about Courtney's weight... she does look like a good wind would carry her away!

Interesting about the fisherman using BIRDS to catch fish for them... never ever ever heard of that before!!!
