Default Short tummies!

Hello Everyone!
I had what everyone would call a WOW moment yesterday. My darling 6 year old son was hugging me yesterday, and said "Mommy, look! I can close my hands when I hug you! You are getting a short tummy! You used to have a long tummy. Your tummy is getting "almost short" He told me last year that he wished I had a short tummy like Aunt Les and Grammy. If that wasn't what I needed to get the ball rolling with my weightloss surgery I don't know what was! Oh! AND I grabbed a towel that I don't normally use and for the first time in I don't know how long I could close it around me, tuck it in the front and walk around.(So what if it was a really big towel!) Only you guys could understand my excitement. Just wanted to share.

I totally understand your excitement. My daughter was thrilled the first time she could wrap her arms around me.

Short tummy! That's so cute!

And wrapping the towel! Yes!!

Today I went to the pool to aquajog, and I took a beach towel with me this time. Not a new one, one I've had forever. After I left the pool, I wrapped the beach towel around me and thought....hmmmm, this towel got bigger! Honestly, that's what I actually thought. And then I laughed out loud. Nooooo, dummmmyyyyy, you are getting smaller, the towel is the SAME!! Ohhhh, ok!!!

Aren't those moments exciting as can be????? Makes me just love my pouch!!

I've spoken of marriage in several threads, and I was thinking today that our relationship with our pouches is much like a marriage!!! LOL

But the short tummy is the best of all. congratulations!!! You have made your little guy so happy!
