I love being a mom and seeing that you have done it successfully i now have dibs on you for parental advice. Its the one thing i aim to do right if nothing else. My girly is 16 and my buddy is 4 life is so great. You have a great flight and a great time enjoy those hugs and feel proud.

Mandy, what a lovely thing to say!!!!! But I have to tell you that all of us parents pay our dues in some way or another. I didn't do everything right, and ther eare many things I would do differently if I had it to do again. And I have talked about this to my adult daughters (44 and 42) who are parents themselves. Being a parent is a humblign experience, to say the least. It is, indeed, wonderful that at this stage in my life I can have such a joyful relationship with my children and their families. Our visits are intense and wonderful (each of them live very fary from me), and we enjoy them intensely and wonderfully.

Enjoy every stage - each one is fleeting, as you know! And thank you for your good wishes - truly appreciated! <<<<<< Mandy >>>>>>>

Four days! I will see my family in CT in four more days! Yay!!!

And in five days my daughter and I will take the train to New York City to see the Revival on Broadway of "Grease." I love that music, and she and I watched the auditions for the starring role on TV last season. What fun to see them in person.

So much to do, and so excited!
