How the heck did this happen?
I woke up 40 years old today! I don't know how this happened because it seems like I went to bed 20 and woke up 40! Actually, after losing 120 lbs in the past 5 months, I feel 20! =)

Probably happened the same way I became the mom of a 30 year old!!! Not fair! Time flies wayyyy too fast, probably why I'm so anxious to get a surgery date... I'm not getting any younger!!!

Thanks everyone! I had a great day. They announced my birthday on the school news in the morning and decorated my office, so all day long the kids were singing to me, hugging me, and calling out "Happy Birthday Mrs. Farris!". My daughter sent me flowers to the office. My husband took me out to dinner. I got carded twice tonight - once at dinner when I ordered a glass of wine, and then later at the grocery store when I bought some liquor for a cocktail party I'm having tomorrow. My daughter got the biggest kick out of me being carded twice within 2 hours (and so did I) haha =)
