Default Outlet Stenosis

so i read something on a FAQ page for one of the teams i was looking to go with and one question was "Can i get Outlet Stenosis" and the answer was "It's possible but none of our patients have had this occur in the past 3 years."
ok awesome answer...but my question is...
what is Outlet Stenosis? because i cant find it anywhere on the internet... only Outlet Obstruction.

i think i've finally got the ball rolling...i'm gonna go buy this book tomorrow that Lynda suggested (thank you) and monday im gonna be making phone calls to my insurance (which i will def post on the oxford thread) make a call to my doctor and make sure i speak with her...because it seems to be an all day process to get her on the phone to see if she will give me a referral or else im not wasting my time and im going to see my moms doctor who would tell me i needed to get this done yesterday...
(i think im starting to warm up to this forum...i was shy at first but everyone is so nice and helpful. its awesome...)

Hmmm, maybe it's a symptom you get when you go to the Outlet Malls?

ok so... stenosis is: a narrowing or stricture of a passage or vessel.

im not sure what outlet is referring to...
it could mean when your going to the bathroom...
or i dunno...still looking i probably wont find it... until i talk to the doctor. but i will still explain it. =)

btw. i just found out what "dumping" means.

As far as I know, it is a stricture of the anastamosis between the pouch and intestine.

Tracie is right. It is a stricture of either the opening from the esphogus to the pouch or the anastamosis from the pouch to the intestines. Usually it is the second one that develops after surgery. The treatment is an EGD where they go in with a scope and an instrument that is kind of like a balloon and they re-stretch out the opening.
