I'm going to guess that some of you may have already seen this auction, but it still is just awesome. There is a link to her blog at the end of the auction which reads just as well as her auction does. This is actually her 2nd auction like this. The first was a baseball that "started it all" and sold for over $1000. This woman definitely has a talent!

Deidrea, thanks for sharing this!! It was hysterical! This lady should most definitely be writing books!! I can't believe the kind of money she is making from these auctions, though. That is unbelievable!! I bet she is as dumbfounded as I am. *L*

Thanks for posting this. I most certainly enjoyed the read.

The pokemon cards were actually won by a friend of hers who did pay her for the cards but had set up a new ebay acct. so that she didn't know who it was winning the auction. The whole thing is just funny and I've gotta give her credit because I've only got 2 kids and there are days I feel like I"m as far behind on all my housework as she is.

I think that's what makes her so endearing is the fact that she IS totally dumbfounded by her success. I read through her blog and she went through all of the countries that she has received emails from and it was over 70 countries. She is just flabbergast by the whole thing. She just seems so down to earth about the whole thing that it makes her even better to read and keep up with.

That sure took me down memory lane with 1/2 the brood. I had only 3 kids and thought that was enough of a challenge.
Many good stories to look back on though.
Like the time one of my kids thought they were ready to be potty trained and took off the diaper, just before we went to the store, where I pushed the cart in to a mysterious puddle, or the time my daughter painted her face with lip stick in the back of the shopping cart, or the time....oops I can go on...I will say one thing for young moms going through it...don't blink, cause it all goes so fast!!
No matter what it is, you will laugh about it later!!

That's awesome. She has another auction for a pattern that's going way out of this world. I've been an Ebay seller, and it's a super thrill to get big bucks on something you'd never expect to sell in the first place.

Default Excellent writer

This lady is an excellent writer and I hope one day, she is able to write a book or too. I don't like reading much, but she kept me interested and I was cracking up. Boy, can I relate, but I only have 3 kids...I couldn't imagine having 6 kids nor could I afford it.

Thanks for sharing this..it is great.

She really is great. I have now added her blog to my daily run through and on her blog today she was mentioning how people have asked for her paypal acct. info to send her donations. Instead of taking the money she said she would prefer the money go to St. Judes or to Breast Cancer Research and was trying to figure out how to put buttons on her blogger acct for just that. I really think she is an amazing woman and I really do hope that her 15 mins of fame gets used to the fullest extent.
