Thanks everyone. It's a little hard knowing I'll be so far away from my family (both forum and blood) when the bean arrives, but we'll manage. So far life in Canada is . . . cold. It's almost the end of August and I'm freezing all the time. Not sure if it's because I'm not used to the temperature or so little body fat to keep me warm now.
If all goes well, Andrew and I will be getting married this coming weekend in Byron, New York. I'm told it's near Rochester. This will allow us to process our permanent resident papers and get the kids into school, which starts in 2 weeks. We're hoping we'll be able to move into our own place before school starts. Just waiting on certain financial matters to fall into place.
I was thinking...I should be coming back to San Diego around Feb or so to get my stuff out of storage. Perhaps we can arrange a sort of stapler get-together, double baby shower thing. Anyways, there's time to think on it. Thanks again!!
