Something I have a great deal of experience with. I had morning sickness for eight months (and my baby was five weeks early). Crackers didn't do squat for me, ginger ale was OK, but mainly because it didn't taste that nasty comming up. Phenergan made me feel drunk, Zofran worked well, but insurance is really stingy paying for it (although I think a generic came out right before my little girl was born). The one thing that I didn't think would work sort of did. It was a little (I think about a tbsp) of apple cider vinegar mixed with water. I have no idea what this would feel like on your pouch since I am pre-op, but it help me a little.

Congrats to both of you...and remember no matter how bad that morning sickness is it will be all worth it.

CONGRATSSSSSSSSSSSS TAMMY!

WOOHOOOOOOOO I am soooooooo excited for you! And now I get to sit back and watch others!

Tammy - Like I told others if you have any questions, need to vent or just talk feel free to message me anytime.

To touch on your question about morning sickness, I think it depends on the person and I believe it is different after surgery. If unsalted saltines are not working for you, try some dry toast. Very small amounts. I didn't have morning sickness, I had night sickness and it didn't last very long. For me dry toast worked and sometimes I would have a little bit of Ramen Noodles and for some strange reason that worked for me.

Congrats again!
