Morning sickness
Well I've never had it as my two babies came from another Mother but I have a lot of friends that have had kids, and they said crakcers. My one friend had to keep salteins (sp) by her bed side so that she could eat a couple 1st thing when she woke up. Not sure if that will work for you but it's worth a try. I can't wait to have morning sickness for myself.

congrats
Tammy-
That is wonderful. I am so happy for you. You will make such a great mom!
Morning sickness-definitley keep crackers by your bed. Also, take your prenatal vitamins at night so it's not so heavy on your stomach.

What wonderful News!! Congrats!!!!
Like Jeanie said...crackers beside the bed before you sit up. Getting up in the morning should be done very slowly and in stages, resting in between. Sometimes, breakfast too quickly or too late can trigger the ickies as well. Don't worry, by the time you figure out how to cure it, it will be gone!!! LOL!!!
Yeah...another BABY!!!

Congrats Tammy, when's the due date?
Not to hijack...but I have to say...the crackers are NOT working!! Okay, now considering I've been dealing with this for the past 4 weeks, I've found that if you're craving something, have it in small quantities. I've jumped from peanut butter to mustard to pickles. And sometimes in the same day.
Ginger ale seems to work as well. If you can find the diet kind, sip at it slowly and I've found it calms the tummy quite well. Oh yeah, and morning sickness doesn't stay in the morning where it belongs. Mine hangs around the most at night right now.

My thing was that I had to make sure that I ate something real and solid, as in I couldn't just drink some juice or milk, within an hour or I was hauling to the bathroom. Also when you find that magic thing that does help you... keep lots of it around. It really is a random thing and it's unpredictable so if you find something that works stick to it.

No experience here with morning sickness, but congrats on the new addition, and only thing I remember about morning sickness is that before you get out of bed in the morning.. I mean the minute you wake eat a couple of saltine crackers. Had a roommate whose wife was pregnant and she had terrible MSickness. A friend of mine told her about the saltines, and it took her's away. Good luck to you on that one, Janie

I have every confidence that I will have a healthier pregnancy than I ever could have before.
Thanks for the love! Any tips on combating morning sickness MUCH apprecaited!!
