Default Every since my surgery I've become obsessed with cooking shows....

My family has really benefited, as they are enjoying some great food. Why wasn't I like this before. (shaking my head).

Rock and roll doesn't create psychos, it helps psychos be more creative.

My wife loves them, especially Paula Deen. She watches that Italian woman Giada something as well as Rachel Ray. Rachel's the only one I can't stand.

My dad swears if anything ever happens to my mom she will be my new step-mom. LOL

When I still lived in San Diego, I used to have Food Network on 24/7. Mainly just for background noise. I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of Emeril Live, or Paula's Party. But I do like Giada and Paula's regular show. The only show I like of Rachel Ray's is her $40 a day. I absolutely can't stand her laugh or the way she always loads up and carries way too much. Her kitchen isn't that big, is it really that hard to go from the counter to the fridge more than once?

I'm a huge Alton Brown (Good Eats) fan. I discovered Food Network and his show in 2004 and after 25 years of marriage finally learned to cook properly. Unfortunately it was too late for my obese body!

At least now I do a good job of making healthy meals, and I'm already looking forward to making the right foods after WLS (which won't be for at least another year now, darn BCBS regulations!).

I'm really enjoying all of these shows. Very fun to learn new things.

The laughing and the carrying drive me crazy! I've been leaving the room if my wife has her on. Have you seen her talk show...it's even worse.

Also, I like the show with the spiky haired guy who does the Diner and Dives show. He eats all the crap I'd love to eat, but don't dare to anymore.

They guy that does that show's name is Guy (can't spell his last name). He was the winner of the second season of the Next Food Network Star.

I saw Rachel Ray's talk show once. That was enough. The woman makes me tired just watching her.....and the laugh....like I said $40 a day is the only show of hers that I like. And mainly because she's not the one making the food.
