Default Yea! Looks like Dean is going to miss us!

Whew!!!

The frozen food company for which I work has 4 warehouses that were in the projected path of Hurricane Dean at the end of last week. Every day the storm has tracked further south and as of this morning, it looks like it is going to miss all of our facilities. Yea!!!

We took a beating in the last couple Hurricanes. After a lot of work we were able to locate (big) generators, but then we couldn't get diesel fuel to run them. It was really bad. I feel terrible for the people in Mexico that are now in the path, but I am breathing a sigh of relief. Also happy for any of our TT friends in southeast Texas!

Now let's hope it loses strength so that Mexico doesn't get beat up too badly.

Hey Squishy... lots of stories about flooded basements around here... we went all summer with no rain, then BAM! All at once! The lawn mower guys showed up at the office yesterday and mowed in the rain! I guess when your paycheck depends on it..... If I tried to mow wet grass, I'd kill my lawn mower!!! Guess their high-powered professional machines can handle it.

We in TX are very thankful the storm moved south. We have had enough rain & flooding this summer. Praying for Mexico but also saying prayers of thanks.
