I'm glad that Michelle gets to come home and get her knee taken care of. I'm sure she is VERY happy to be back and with you again. You guys are a great couple, and anyone that has seen you can see the love you share for each other. I look forward to seeing you both at Rain's.

Oh Donna - that is wonderful news...not the surgery and stuff, but that you two will be able to be together. I am sure that the fact you have been able to sleep so soundly comes from not carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders
Honey - if I was anywhere in Cali, I would pack up my cleaning supplies and vaccuum cleaner and dust bunny gun to clean your place I love you - and can't wait to hear how your homecoming reunion goes!

Donna, I can't find the post about what's going on with Michelle. Did she get injured at work? How long has she been away?

This is the right thing
I can't imagine how you two have managed being apart for so long. It is so hard! And though I'm sorry to hear about the knee trouble, this is great news!!
I have an excellent cleaning service - but I'm afraid they won't come to Cali! There just has to be someone! Best of luck to you.

I gotta tell you, after being on this planet for 53 years, it takes quite a bit for this old curmudgeon to cry. Your responses to this thread teared me up, and when I got to Rain's response, I broke down and cried. You can bet I'll be showing this to her, and she will be moved that so many of you carried "us" in your hearts. You truly are my cyberfam and my best support.
Jenni, thanks for your offer! I need to find out when she is coming to determine if there's even time for bringing in a backhoe (and I'm not calling you a name there! ) I'll pm you if the timing works out.
Polly, Michelle went up to Alaska to work on the "Deadliest Catch" processors and a (now FORMER) co worker shall we say, assisted in her falling, giving her a concussion, (even with a hardhat on) a gashed up arm, and blowing out her right knee. She will be coming home to get surgery on her knee and get rehabbed in time to go back in January.
Once more, my wonderful support system of loved ones has moved me to tears. I love you all that much back!

Donna, I'm so happy for you! Even across a continent, I can hear the joy ringing in your voice!

Now- dust bunnies. There's a rule at my house. If you find a dust bunny, you get to name it and keep it. They don't eat much, they don't take up much room, and hey! they're all natural! Maybe Michelle can take one back with her as a mascot!
