You two are a great looking couple--pretty and in love! I hope Michelle and I look that happy after 14 years of wedded bliss...
Our 4th anniversary is August 1....we will not be able to be together for it.
But she should be here for the 5th anniversary of our meeting in October! Seriously, you two really look happy! How wonderful is that!

Awww Donna... I know how hard this is for you right now. I hated being away from Chris. I still don't know how military couples do it on a regular basis! You both look so happy and in love when you're together, I don't think you have anything to worry about! Stay stong! She'll be home before you know it!
Thanks Whit... I sure do miss ya!!!!

hi, Jack!
Oh, Robin, thanks for the warm thoughts. I thankfully have absolute trust in Michelle and know that she misses me as much as I miss her--even though we talk on the phone almost every day--it's like we can't sleep if we can't tell each other we love each other every day. I actually thought I would do okay with this, since I do trust her, I do know we need to do this, and it is only temporary. I got completely blindsided by the depth of my emptiness without her. I agree with you, not only do military fams have to deal with the absentia of one of the pillars in the family, but they also have the worry that their loved one may not make it home.....I'm just not that strong, I guess. I always cry when they show deployed people coming home on the news.
But I'm glad for you that Chris is back in town to stay, that your anniversary was a good one and that your previously bumpy road is now well paved and a joy to drive on....(maybe one too many metaphors there, sorry!) You guys are such a hot couple, both tall and lean, with such warm eyes and great smiles. I see the attraction for each of you. Congrats on officially being a long term couple!
