I guess the AARP website has this feature too... altho most of you are too young for it!

YAY! Thanks for telling me. The best part about threads like this is actually going out and buying/trying the recommended products. I am keeping a list of things that other people recommend that I am going to try, and it makes me smile to know that someone liked one of my rec's, too

4. Udder Cream from Trader Joes - non-greasy and very moisturizing.

5. fresh grown tomatoes - from your garden or the local farmers market. Teh sun keeps them warm and juicy... try the heirloom variety with fresh mozz and fresh basil... drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar... oh man I want some right now!
Paige I'm going to have to try those panties since I have latex allergy. They say the elastic is made out of latex.

Default Some more cool stuff I love...

I am soooo not able to keep lists of favorites to only 5, LOL! So here are some more things I love...isn't it the season to bask in mushy feelings of fondness? I'm totally feeling that today...

6. Organix Vanilla Silk serum for hair (see photo). A lightly vanilla scented hair serum that turns my naturally wavy (read: slightly frizzy) hair smooth and sleek. My hair has never been so soft! It moisturizes your hands a bit, too. My hair is SUPER SUPER thick, and applying a small amount of this makes it sooooo much easier to brush just after washing. I usually use Biosilk serum, but I ran out and my mom surprised me with a bottle of the Vanilla Silk, and now I'm thinking this is my new favorite.

7. http://www.propertyroom.com/ I first started going to this website when it was called "Steal It Back!" I like that it is run by Police Departments. There are an awful lot of auction websites out there, but I like this one for cheap fine jewelry. You can get really nice stuff for as low as $1 (plus s&h). I just bought some gorgeous ruby earrings for my sister for Xmas for something like $7, plus $10 for shipping. I have a favorite ring I always wear made of two shades of jade with eternity symbols carved in the gold that I purchased for less than $30. If you go, just make sure what you're buying is marked as new or used. Most of the stuff I look at on the site is new, but I have seen a few items labeled "gently used" or whatever, which means it was probably seized in a police raid. For more info: http://about.propertyroom.com
http://about.propertyroom.com/times/times.htm

8. I totally agree with the person above who wrote about how mucy they loved the Bath and Body Works Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint (see photo) that is both a lip gloss and freshens your breath at the same time. A very invigorating peppermint feel and taste! I use the Tint No. 1139 which is clear with a very, very light reddish brown tint that just makes my natural lip color a bit more.

9. Speaking of Bath and Body, I adore their Gentle Foaming Soaps. I have them in every room with a sink that I use regularly, LOL. Right now I have the Sweet Pea scent in one bathroom, Pink Grapefruit in another, and the Fig scented one in my kitchen. Mmmm...

10. Ok, everyone knows about this one, but I just have to use this space to say how much I adore my Netflix account. I currently have over 300 things in my Queue and regularly add more, LOL. As if I'll ever get through them all, but I can try! Right now I'm addicted to watching sets of tv series and only occasionally an actual movie. I'm spacing out about 5 different tv series so I have a disc of 3 different shows at any one time so I don't get bored and get all excited to finally get the next disc when I'm waiting to see what happens next. Sadly, it's harder to find time to watch now that I can't watch on the train anymore. Too hard to take my laptop on BART but it was sure fun to watch on the Amtrak trains during my former long commute.

Mmmmmm....Cindy....today I made an Almond Joy hot cocoa in my machine.....I used water, sweetener, regular cocoa powder (Hersheys), special dark cocoa powder (Hersheys), Torani SF coconut syrup................whirred it up, then added some cold Almond Breeze unsweetened vanilla for the almond part....yummy. BTW, I am noticing that pretty much every department store has some variation of the cocoa latte machine......just called something different. It should be easy for everyone to find.
