I love this because i am not used to it, being from LA. But here in Western NY, I love it when the corn stands open in the summer - that first bunch of corn it so yummy even though I can only take a couple of bites!!!

Default Good time to find this...

I needed this today...so glad you guys are here...

Favs right now this minute:

1. The smell after rain has washed the world clean, a combination of blue water, green silence and fresh starts, as the earth takes a deep breath and begins again.

2. The hearts of the people who love unconditionally, who can show it in their actions and tell it in their words.

3. The soul of this forum as we reach out to those of us in pain or torment for whatever reason, as we worry about our far-flung family.

4. Hope for a bright future, and hope that a past is not inscribed in stone, but in sand that can be washed away, rewritten.

5. And sports bras. Woo-hoo!

Having my quiet time with my 9-year old granddaughter. She's extra cuddly right after waking up or just before bedtime. Love it!

Saturday mornings. I spend some time alone before the rest of the house awakens outside on my back patio. Very peaceful.

Feeding stray cats and/or the many squirrels that visit my backyard all whom have the name "Rocky" (Rocky & Bullwinkle)

Frozen Blueberries from Trader Joes. Great in hot weather. Just add some Splenda or such and enjoy frozen.

Sacramento area. Folsum, Placerville, Pollock Pines, Auburn, etc. Great places to go antique shopping.
