Default Very WOW moment!

I taught an eBay class this morning, and on the way home I decided to stop in the supermarket for some things I really need (Carnation Instant Breakfast, fat free milk, etc.).

As I was walking in, there was a man coming out toward me. This is a person I have known for 10 years, who had an office next to mine when my husband and I had a business (prior to retirement 3 years ago). And since that time, we have seen each other quite a bit. In other words, he knows me well, by name.

He looked at me, and then looked beyond me, and passed me right by. I called his name, and he turned around and looked at me quizzically. I smiled and said "John, don't you say hello to old friends?" And his face broke out in a smile, and he said to me, "Claire, you look so entirely different...." and went on to say some nice things.

Oh, this is a wild ride, a journey into new worlds!!!!!!

NOW I understand so much more what Lynda and some other huge supporters of me when I FIRST came onto the group in February were talking about -- the wild ride, the journey.

When the WOW moment happens, it inspires a person to continue the work involved, the conscious effort that it takes to live a new lifestyle.

This has been a big week for me - between the much improved blood work profile and an old friend not recognizing me, and, oh yes, compliments from my husband that I've never heard before, I'm on a rolllllllll!!!!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful weekend.
