Default Protein Bars

I'm trying to find a good protein bar. My local support group suggested the South Beach Meal replacement bars which have 19g of protein per bar. The problem is that they make me fell awful. I get a horrible headache and it's almost like a dumping feeling. Not that I am running for the bathroom, but just that yucky in the belly feeling.

I really think that it's either too high in protein or carbs but I'm really not sure which but just feeling that awful is not helpful.

I'm kind of hoping to find one that is good that is like 10-15g of protein per bar. I think that if it didn't taste so much like protein and hopefully doesn't give me a headache that I can actually use them to increase my protein.

Any suggestions are very welcome.

I have been eating Smarte Carb bars. They have a few that are sugar free, these are the ones that I go for obviously. They do have sugar alcohols so if those dont sit well with you dont try them. I have the Peanut Butter Crunch ones. 170 Cal, 5g fat, 12 g sugar alcohol and 20g protein. I usually only eat them 1/2 at a time on days when I feel like I need little something between meals. Fills me up really good and holds me over.

Do I really want to be normal?? Having some body issues. Don't want to be too thin.
