Question Food - 9 months out questions?

Ok, I'm not a newbie to this ride. I've had a few complications (granted the emergency surgery thing wasn't fun) but for the most part - I'm one of the really lucky ones. I rarely dump, even then it's mild. I get stuck even less - and a hot coffee takes care of that quickly! I exercise - not as much as I should, but I'm getting better all the time. I even start another new "Beginner's Work out" class today at work to go along with my yoga and home work outs. Right now my thyroid is way messed up (TSH is an 8 - should be a 3 or below.) but I started the news meds a couple weeks ago and will be retested in another month or so. So - my questions are around food. Lately - the last few days to a week - I feel really sluggish. Generally - muscle weak - would be a good description. Is this sorta normal? Do we go through phases of needing different things at different times? I've just ramped up the calories, religiously watching my proteins again, take my vitamins, B, etc., and take nothing else as far as meds are concerned. I just feel like a newborn kitten!! Uck!!! Could it be the heat - even though I'm not out in it a lot? Anyone else go through similar phases? Any advice?? Help! Thanks!!

The heat does that to me...but if it continues, I would check with my doc. The weariness sounds like an iron issue, but I'm just going off what i've heard...no real knowledge about it. I hope you feel better soon!

COULD be signs of dehydration and the need for more on these hot hot days of summer.
BUT i would also have your surgeon or regular doctor check your bloods
if they havent been done recently.
I know i had mine done 3 times the first year by my surgeon .WATCHING to see if i turned up deificient in things that are well known for bypass
patients to be deficient with! CANT HURT! but really show if your lo on B, iron, potassium etc or anything that can cause such!!!!
