OMG! What a freaking view! It's impossible to describe the Grand Canyon in person...pictures serve no justice to the magnitude and greatness of God's creation. I cried at the beauty of it all. In less than 24 hours I went from the top of the Tetons at 9200 ft to standing at the edge of a 5000 ft hole.

I was just there over Memorial Day. It is absolutely spectacular! Did you take the steam train? I also hiked the Tetons back in high school and then did a 3 day white water rafting trip down the Snake River. Wyoming is also beautiful!

I never saw the north rim... it was closed for a snow storm when I was there in april of 2000... Enjoy it.. there are very few places as peaceful as the canyon
