Hey there! We are here..in Idaho falls...helping Sam's Dad. He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He had no symptoms until a week for so ago. It's so far advanced that no chemo or radiation can help him now. It's just a matter of keeping him as comfy as possible for his last days here. He as SOOOO much stuff in storage that he wants us to go through and weed out. We hae been going through boxes..took 2 huge loads to the dump, and will do more tomorrow. We still have to sell his cars..he has a 33 ford...jaguar...mgb...and a ford truck. So, there is lots to do. He is in good sprits. I think the kids visiting has helped him a lot. He's still having quite a bit of pain. The fluid on his lungs is causing him problems breathing. They have him on hydrocodone, but will probably switch to something stronger soon. Shit, I take vicoden when I have bad period cramps! I would think for lung cancer, something stronger would be in order!!!
Well, I must go read the forum and catch up on the latest. I just had some goldfish crackers...and yes, there is a Starbucks...so I've had one every day! No weight gain so far...as the matter of fact, I'm down a few pounds. I must go change my signature!!! Have a great week. It's nice to be off work.
