So I got to thinking about how many people there are that are at the same weight as me and wear larger and smaller pants than me. I was wanting to see the span of clothing sizes. I'm always in a larger size than other people who weigh the same as me.

So...I thought it would be interesting for everyone to post what their sizes were or are at their different weights. For example- I used to be 125lbs and I was in a size 8...so I'm going to put 8 at the 125 mark and I was a size 20/22 at 245... I'm going to enter only where I knew my weight AND my pant size at the same time. I just want to see the span. Plus I'm bored! Oh and maybe it can give us an idea of where we may be when we get thinner! Cause we will!
Please update using the last poster's list. Thanks so much for participating!

Ok Carlie Bear. Gonna break this down in to pre op and post op since its dramatically different post op.

Weight- Pant Size

125-- No recollection of ever being this weight

150-- Size 12

175-- Size 13/14

200--
Size 16-22 depending on what it was. Almost there post op!

225-- 22/24 pre-op. This was 13 yrs ago so the bottoms were probly the same. Post op: 16 on top or an XL 18 on bottom. I can do a 16 Jeans or my husbands size 36 jeans. Pants and slacks run bigger, I prefer a 20 because for some reason these all seem to be cut short in the crotch.

250--
Size 22/24 (pre WLS) Size 18 (post WLS)

275-- Size 20/22/24 (depending on brand)

300-- 26/28 TIGHT (pre-op) 26/28 baggy as heck. Mostly 22 with a smattering of 20's. (post-op).

325-- 26/28 perfect fit with the occasional camel toe.

350-- 26/28

400-- 30-ish, 5x, whatever I could find to fit me

450-- 5x-6x and a like size 52 mens jeans and pants. Lot of 5xL Skirts @ this weight.

488-- What the hell *DID* I wear at this weight?? No recollection but I know I was there. Ive seen the pix.
Thanks so much.

Default Strictly guessing

Weight- Pant Size/Shirt Size
I'm 5'2" tall, by the way

125-- Haven't gotten there yet
135-- Size 6 petite pants, small or XS T-shirts
140-- Size 8 petite pants, small T-shirts
150-- Size 12 petites, small or medium T-shirts
175-- Size 14
200-- Size 16
250-- Size 18
275-- Size 24
300-- 26/28 jeans (WAY too tight, wore 'em anyway), 3X tops

I'm guessing, by the way, as I genuinely have no memory of what the stages were... Plus, it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Found a pantsuit today that's a 3/4 that fits me, but that's not saying my favorite Lee Rider jeans would fit me in that size...

Plus, I'd make more than one size jump at a time... I kinda skipped over size 10 completely, went straight to size 8. This kind of thing is hard to predict.

Lisa, I pick up those tiny little size "Small" tops at Costco and can't believe ANYONE could fit into them. They look like they are for 5 years olds. After being a 3X it must feel surreal when you fold your laundry or hang up your clothes. I know my size 18 jeans even look "skinny" to me when I take them out of the dryer. I couldn't be happier for you, Lisa...

At 328 I was a 30/32, 26/28.
Now I'm in a 22/24, though I have 2 new pairs of shorts that are 18/20.

I just wish I knew what size I was going to be on my wedding day so I can order something to wear...size could change a lot between now and October...bit unnerving to wait 'til September...
