Well, we all know they passed up on someone superlative... which makes me suspect the usual politicking in bureaucracies, that someone else was up for the job that had some pull somewhere, so they priced the actual best candidate out of the competition knowingly.

Hope it all turns out for the best, my dear.

I am so sorry it didn't work Gina!! They really are going to miss out on terrific talent, and will regret being cheap. I am glad you still have your current job, and that you will continue to be able to see your students grow in the talent you are able to train them in
