Question: What is sublingual B12? - ThinnerTimes

I hear it mentioned here often, and I am curious as to what it is. Where can I buy it, why is it better than just a regular B12? I am so tired all the time, and even though my blood work comes back fine sometimes I'm just so pooped. I ocassionally get a B12 shot at the clinic but they want me to make an appointment each time now. When I do get them my husband says I'm like the energizer bunny. I feel pretty good for about 2-3 days, then it wears off.

You place the pill (very small) under your tongue and let it disolve. Any drug store should have them. It absorbs directly into your body, rather than swallowing a pill, where it won't be completly absorbed given our new "plumbing."

B-12 can't be taken thru the digestive tract. The sublingual is a little pill that dissiloves under your tongue in a minute or so. Doesn't taste awful. I was told to take it weekly. Most health food stores and many drug store have it. I get it at Trader Joes's-don't know if you have them there but any health food place will have it.
