Default 12?? Is this a joke?

I had to buy a suit for my interview today and I was all upset, because the largest jacket they had that matched the tan linen skirt (that I loved) was a 12. I was so upset, I tried it on...it fits...What the heck? I had already tried on the size 14 skirt, which fit fine. When I got the whole thing on, I realized that I could have most likely tried a 12 skirt too, but I was out of time. I haven't lost a pound in so long, I think my scale is stuck, but I've gone down at least a size. This is SOOOO strange.

WTF??

I have my one year appt in two weeks and I SOOOOO want to lose at least a few more pounds...I know - they won't care. They already consider me a success and are done with me. But I'm not!!

same here, scale is not moveing but clothes are falling off me. In the past 3 weeks I have gone from a 14, to an 8/10. Its kinda nice but the scale is still alot to close to the 200 mark for me, it needs to drop a whole LOT more-

Default I fully expect to see you here...

Gina, girl,

We talked about this before - I fully expect you to get down to somewhere around my size... and I just moved into a size 6. We're the same basic body type, from the pictures, and about the same height. I was maybe a size in front of you at the one year mark, I think I was in a size 10, but you've got more shrinkage in your future, especially with your muscular mindset...you will definitely see single digits, I fully believe that.

I was thinking the same thing as you this morning, Gina. I've gone from a 14 to a 12 over the last month with minimal weight loss...just a pound or two. I even put on clothes today that were really tight a few weeks ago and now they fit! I KNOW I am shrinking in size but the scale sure isn't showing it much. I've always thought I was going to land at about a 10-12 after plastic surgery. Now I'm beginning to wonder if it will be more like an 8????? Now that would be unbelievable for me!

Take the successes in whatever way they come my dear....inches, pounds...ALL of them should be celebrated!

Why on earth would this surprise you? Seriously, it's been a year and you've lost more weight than ever before, you've changed your eating and lifestyle 180 degrees, and now you question sizing without # lost? Really girlfriend...Nothing should surprise you at this point!! Strange things happen daily! Same thing is going on here...no pounds lost, but the pants are fallin' off again. Who cares why...just GO WITH IT!

Gina Gina Gina....the harder you are on yourself without seeing the super success you really have been, the harder it will be in the end. Take every loss (whether it be weight or inches or whatever) and see your success. You are amazing, honey!!!
