Hello boys and girls!

I wanted to let you know that I have some pieces showing at the next edition of Ray at Night (2/12/05, 6-9pm), and would love to see you there if you’re available.

San Diego Art Department – 2 pieces in the current show

For those of you who STILL don’t know about Ray at Night, here’s a teaser:

On the second Saturday of each month, North Park's Ray Street galleries welcome artists, art lovers and curiosity seekers with equal adoration. Ray at Night, as the gallery walk is called, provides an opportunity for San Diegans to experience varying forms of art all in one leisurely stroll.

Every month from 6 to 9 p.m., participating Ray Street galleries display the works of painters, photographers, sketchers, sculptors and the like, allowing visitors to mosey down the one-block stretch southeast of 30th and University in North Park. Ducking in and out of participating galleries, Ray at Night guests are treated to three hours of self-directed gallery hopping and light fare.

Hi Barbara,

I have been excited about going to Ray at Night and, since I am in the design field, happen to know a few people in the arts and we are trying to get a group to go down and hang. I have been telling them I have a friend who is showing a few peices, but I realized we have never met in person. L.O.L.

So, where are you going to be?? Do you look like your avatar?? Want to hang with us??

I would love to meet you tomorrow night - I usually hang out in front of the San Diego Art Department, which is at the North end of Ray Street. That's where my friends and family know that I'll be, so look for me there. I'll probably be there most of the time - if you don't see me, I've gone off to see a showing or meet someone, but I'll be back in a few minutes. My avatar is pretty much right on - look for my curly hair and glasses.

If i dont hook up with Kina tomorrow night and go dress hunting, iwill more than likely be there... Rain (not you honey) permitting, perhaps I should say weather permitting

i like taking Elijah and Isaiah out there, you missed out on the drunk women that were trying to get them to dance with them... halarious! But we got some of it on film! It's a great time..... Rain park along the main road or side streets, it can be a little challenging, but it so worth it! Its alot of fun!

Hello Barbara!
I was just reading this post, and I realized your showing is this evening. I too am an interior designer (as is Rain) and I would love to see your work someday. Hope to get to meet you on the 17th. I hope you did great at Ray's this evening. Wish I could have been there.
