You know..
You finally want to wear a tank top until you put on one, go outside and the wind makes the 'batflaps' under your arms wiggle!

The car salesman becomes totally confused by your crying because you can fit in the sports car you've always wanted!
Someone you know is going to a support group meeting - and they don't drink!
That grande double fudge cake with caramel you would kill for - will now kill you if you try it!
You cry on a rollercoaster - not because your afraid, but because you fit!

awwww yes the roller coaster, I always was able to "fit" but I am not sure how safely I fit. I remember the last time I went before wls, I crammed myself into this rollercoaster and I was terrifed the entire time that it was going to pop open...... now this summer my hubby and I are going to six flags, my first time as a skinny person..... I can hardly wait

You'll love this - the first roller coaster I got on post-op was in the Wisconsin Dells. My husband hates 'em, so I went by myself. The roller coaster was an older one, wooden scaffolding, the whole bit... and while I was belted, the flat seat was meant to hold two people, and the seat belt went all the way across. The bar came all the way down, but just barely grazed my legs instead of locking them in. I was sliding around that seat like a pea in an empty pod! By the time the ride stopped, I had my legs braced against each side of the car, and I was bent forward, both arms locked around the bar that was supposed to be holding me in...
So, you know someone's had WLS when they're scared of falling off the roller coaster 'cause they're too skinny...

I know what you mean! I was at universal studios last month and went on the mummy's revenge coaster with our son. The attendent pushed down so hard on the bar I could barely breathe. that was the most uncomfortable ride I ever had! I said I won't go on it again until I drop the weight.
