Mmmm, given that Mike (SirMikey) just had his gallbladder out at 9 this morning and is hurting pretty good right now - I'm thinking if they offered to go through his nose instead, he'd have taken it. Now, in a few days that might not be his answer - but right now..... As for me, hec, I'd be asleep and if it meant faster healing and less pain, go for it! Then again, I've had so many girl surgeries and two kids, exams, etc., I feel like the fifth army has been down there anyway!! LOL

And not to go too far off topic...Mike is still bleeding from the belly button tonight. They said it was normal, but how long will that last? It's just scary to watch him move and see the blood start up!

Default No blood for me...

Oh my, I had no bleeding... my stitches are so tight in the belly button incision that they wrinkled the incision somewhat. Hope he feels better soon (and quits springing bellybutton leaks)... mine was 2 weeks & 2 days ago, and went back to work Weds. Struggling with a couple issues, but nothing that can't be handled. I'll be thinking about him.
