Question name something you now do for yourself that you hadn't done before

Well I had been thinking lately, I have been doing things for myself that before wls I would have never done. Maybe I felt I wasn't deserving or something. I only say that cause I know when it came to clothes I would take on this attitude "well I won't buy that pair of jeans if I can't lose at least 10 pounds" I know sounds crazy huh?!

Well since my wls expecially this most recent year I have done things that I have never done....

lets see I have always colored my hair but never had it professionaly done until last month I paid my beautician $60.00 for a wash, color and style.

Then last week I went for the first time ever and had fake nails put on. No kidding I have never had them before now. I spent $30.00 for that and they look so sexy!

Is this behavior normal?

Default Something for me?

I have always loved music and at one point really thought about going into the PR field and working with bands. But, I just didn't think I 'fit in', you know what I mean. Well that has changed I'm just regular old groupie at this point! It wasn't bad until one of the 'kids' in on of the bands I like (and help when they need it) looked at me the other day and said "You know, it's great when your around, you take care of us just like mom does!" Now just what do you say to that???

I get my eyebrows done! Wear makeup more often, and in general pay more attention to my appearance. I never used to before, because, well, what was the point?
