It was a good day... my husband took me to the riverboat casino, and we won! I should gamble when I'm under the influence more often... Won enough to cover the last two paychecks I didn't get... so life evens out in the end. It was a nice birthday present from the good folks at the casino, even if it was involuntary!

Thanks again for all the good wishes, both for the birthday and the surgery tomorrow. If all goes like it should, I'll check back in on Thursday night or Friday morning.
