oy my goodness, my list could get long, i will just pick a few

1. i can now do ANY activity that my kids do, maybe not as fast as they can, but i can do it, be a part of it and enjoy it and not tire out, i can almost keep up....hey im getting old and when i tucker out now, thats what they say, my son teases, getting old mom? but they ask me to do it now, before they wouldnt, knowing i couldnt or couldnt do it long enough to make a difference

2. be happy about myself, i should have before, but it is easier now

3. go to the gym and do the weights and cardio and know going back is going to make me healthier and stronger not just in pain

4. wipe my entire butt without having to reposition myself on the toilet a bunch of times to reach it all (TMI? ) but it really is a great one! At first i thought maybe my arms got longer, but no, now i know my butt got smaller!

5. not leave a store in tears cuz i couldnt find something that looked good in my size

6. have the confidence to stand up for myself, to speak up and to be proud of what i have achieved, i never gave myself enough credit before, for some reason that comes easier, and its not conceit, it really is confidence, so cool.

7. know that i dont have to take BP meds, that my kidneys are now functioning on their own and doing well, its turning around, and so grateful for that

8. Being able to look at the glass half full not half empty

i will quit now.

Deb, this is a great thread you started!
Hmmm- I'm only about 6 0r 7 weeks out, but this morning at church, I was able to use the kneeler w/o letting my butt rest on the pew! I couldn't do this for the last year or so 'cuz my belly was too big, and there wasn't room for it if I got on my knees. Guess what I was thanking Him for while I was down there!

So many things to be thankful for but the biggest one was that today I went to a theme park and could fit on every ride! Went to the same theme park last year and couldn't fit on the top 5 rides!

Definitely definitely definitely going to Florida in November this year!

Today I reread all of your posts and actually got tears in my eyes cause I was rejoicing with y'all!!

CeeCee, I could just picture you kneeling giving thanks to God that your sweet little butt finally fit!! Reminds me of all the meals I skipped on airplanes because I didn't want the tray to rest on my third chin! I am flying to Florida at the end of this month and let me tell ya...whether they feed me or not, I'm putting that tray down and I'm gonna giggle out loud when I'm doing it.

You are all so precious!
