Sorry we didn't show up last night, but her family was having a get-together the same night, and it was a rare opportunity to meet her one sister who lives in Texas. I'm hoping she can figure in some time to meet you guys before I leave.

I have to say, as much as I love this whole mid-March sun thing, I do somewhat miss my snow.

She took me up Mt. Helix the other day and we took some amazing pictures.

- First kiss - 15 minutes later (We were shy...)

Goals left to do:
- Move in together - She's filed modifications to child custody, and we're hoping to get her to Canada this summer.
- Put that ring on her finger
- Make babies - And of course, get lots and lots of practice in!

OMG!!! You miss the snow???? o_O

It snowed here in Lethbridge last night...... the car is all covered with the wet snow. It's also super foggy out (have a raging headache from it too).

Am glad that you're having a great time with Jenny! The pics from the mountains are amazing too.

Well... the trip's over and I'm back in Toronto now. I thought our 4-day October trip was hard to pull away from, but I wasn't prepared for leaving after 2 weeks. I finally felt like I had settled into a comfortable life. I had a lot of travel time to get most of the tears out, but they still creep up on me now and then.

I'm not sure how to say it properly. I've never had any doubts about us being together in the long run. But it feels somehow like the idea of it is even more solidified in my mind than it was before. Like I used to be able to imagine ways that our day-to-day family life would be with some creativity. But now, I've lived it. Granted, it was only two weeks and it's not a long-term telling of things, but it's been a great indication.

All I know is that her ex had better sign those freakin papers to let their son leave the state, or I'm gonna go postal.

As things stand now, we're thinking we'll tie the knot legally with no fuss or muss, then do a pair of receptions (One in Canada, one in Cali) when we can afford the time and money. We're hoping to do the move when the kids finish school or earlier (if their teachers allow them to do some work while they're gone to make up the missed class time.)

I'm hoping to fly down, put a ring on her finger, help her pack, and drive up with the kids, kitty and ham-hams in the back. It'll be a long drive, and we'll have to do some better comparisons, but it would most likely be significantly cheaper and easier than flying and paying to have furniture and whatnot shipped. We've been looking at houses in our price range, and found some nice houses in Cobourg (out near Peterborough, between Toronto and Kingston,) in the 100k-200k range that would fit us and our babies-to-be comfortably.

Make sure kitty and ham-hams have clearance to leave the country without getting quarantined. I think for kitty all you need is proof that she (or he) has had their shots and stuff. Not sure about hammies though. I love hammies.... I had one that passed away this past Sept, broke my heart. Now... I have 2 guinea pigs... hehehe

Awesome at all the progress you guys are making though!!!!

Can't wait to hear you're engaged!!! WHOO HOO!!!!

Default Wow!

What have I missed Jenny?

I remember meeting you and your cute kids on the beach in La Jolla. As I re-call - one was named the spawned devil child! LOL This is amazing. I wish you all the best Girl. Your avatar is just amazing! How much you have changed, grown as a woman, and have become more beautiful each and every day. I wish you love, laughter and much happiness in this new fork in the road for you. Looks to me like you're taking the high road! I could not be happier for you.
