yah.. the wind Sucks! Hard to sleep last night.. and its nose freezing weather.. when you walk outside and your air freezes in your nose... brr... I hate it too Duckie! (LOL arent we both the smart ones? Living in the Northeast and hating the cold).. we also got a buttload of snow... well ok.. not too much.. but with the wind, it seems worse. Enjoy Florida.. and make sure you bring the SUN (You know that big hot thing that sometimes graces our skies??) Back with you!

Sittin here in Alabama, thinkin that 31 this morning sure is cold! But, hey, it's supposed to climb all the way to the high 60's this afternoon! But you know, we look forward to the few inches of snow that we get ever so often - schools close- the grocery stores are hit hard for all their milk and bread - eveyone hunkers down for a couple of days at home - by that time, we all have "cabin fever" and are ready to get back outside! It's a different world from y'all up there in the cold north! Since I've never been north of the very southernmost part of Pennsylvania, I haven't experienced many places. Right about now, I've put my coat up and probably won't get it out again, even with the cool mornings. The buttercups are blooming! Little sprigs of green are starting to show more and more! Ahh... Spring!

Really, y'all, I'm not gloating - just reveling in the vast differences in our country - every area has its drawbacks and plusses - it's a wonderful world we live in.
