Default Book Club - San Diego

Hi Everyone,

I though that it might be fun to start a Book Club. Most of us enjoy reading and this would be a great way for us to get our reading fix and socialize at the same time.

This is what I envisioned but I'm open to suggestions since I've never actually been a part of a book club before.

- We would meet one Saturday a month at a café, or restaurant (I'm thinking maybe the Pannikin in Encinitas or La Jolla).
- Each member would take turn selecting the book to be discussed for the next months meeting (or we could all give a selection and then vote on it)

If this sounds like something that would interest you just let me know. Also, if you know of anyone who might want to participate please feel free to pass the message on. The more the merrier

If anyone knows of a book club that is looking for new members I'm more than willing to join them.

I love to read. I live in East County though, so not sure I would want to drive up north.

Gosh, I wish I had time to even read the newspaper anymore, much less a book! I used to love to read. (sighs) Maybe in my old age when I have grandkids that I can send home!
