Thumbs up The Price is Right

Howdy y'all! I wanted to let you guys know that we are planning on requesting tickets to the price is right sometime in Feb. so we go in March... we were thinking our shirts could say, this loser wants to win and have our before and after pic on the front!

Let us know by posting here if you are interested, they tape during the week so you may have to get one day off during the week.... relish the thought... the office will function fine for one day without you there! Like I said post here if you are interested, we'll keep you posted.

So far, aye-aye's from Pam, Stacie, Angela, Jenna, Mary, Tonya, Christina, Stuart and Karen has expressed an interest. Let us know who else wants to go to Burbank! It should be a blast!

You all will have so much fun! I wish I could go, but wouldn't be able to manage a day off. I ate up all of my time when I had the surgery. Hope it works out for you guys!! The shirts will be so cool..

Thumbs down You didn't mention the T-Shirt thing..

The thing is, I am a bit apprehensive now about this. I am so sick and tired of being reminded of my weight. I go places and still people look at me like I am fat, or ask me when I am due because I still have this huge belly. People say mean things to me like "You shouldn't be wearing that" or whatever. So I think for now I will gracefully bow out and just try and be "Christina" for one freaking day without being reminded of my weight. Yes I am thankful for the surgery and will NEVER forget where I came from and try to be compassionate to all those who still struggle with their weight. I am truly proud of what I have accomplished so far, but I am sick and tired of dealing with it. I know I will carry that weight with me for the rest of my life.. even if it is off.. nobody will let me forget that I am fat. Thanks but no thanks.. Sorry if this seemed a bit rude.. I would have gone otherwise.. just don't have it in me right now. I know I have issues.. but I'm human too. I know it is a personal issue to me but I don't want to bring ya'll down so that's all I have to say about that.

Love ya girl..

First of all you are so dang pretty that its not funny. I told Aaron when he met you that I would love to look like you. You have such a cute sweet face that makes everyone just love you. Something that us girls learned this weekend is if someone has a problem its there problem not yours. Don't let these MEAN PEOPLE take control of your life. You are a wonderful woman on the inside and out. We are not going unitl March so by then you will have lost another 30 or so lbs. No one there will know you as the fat girl. I love you girl and if you need to talk just know I'm here.

Default Price is Right

I don't know if I will have any vacation at that time. One week at Christmas, one week in Feb. and one week in April. All this because our kids don't get enough time in school. It's one week here and one day there.

You are such a sweetheart. I just love you to death. Thank you for the kind words. I know what you mean about other people's problems being theirs not mine, but this is MY issue that I need to deal with. I guess I was never comfortable being a "fat person" and maybe that is because for so many years I was thin? I don't know what the deal is. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me to get my head to catch up with my body. However, I know it isn't going to happen over night either. I don't mind going with just the wording on the shirts, but putting that fat picture up for all to see on National TV .. that is a whole other issue. I've been humiliated enough for one lifetime.. I don't need to add to that. It would be different say if it were the Maury show or something where someone could learn from my experience or maybe something like that.. but I have been a "freakshow" long enough. I know this may not make sense for some.. but someone may be able to relate to my anxiety and thoughts about this. It's just the way I feel, that's all. I do think it is a great idea.. or you could maybe put on a T-Shirt "Dr. Callery's Angels or Success Stories" or something like that. Then if someone asks.. it's different.. but otherwise.. pictures.. no way. It is different when it is all of us.. I have no problem with it.. but in a society where we were mocked and laughed at and ridiculled for many years I don't feel comfortable with that. Even if I do lose another 30 lbs and am at goal by then. I hope this makes some sort of sense to some of you. I apologize if I am not on the bandwagon with ya.. I do apologize if I seemed rude in my earlier post. My feelings are my feelings thats it. They are valid in my mind.

This has nothing to do with being on a bandwagon. if you want to go to the Price is Right, then you go. If you dont want to wear a T shirt that some of us were thinking about wearing, then dont. It's not a big deal.

When the 7 of us were out at Hard Rock Cafe, our bartender askd if we were out celebrating or whatever, and we told her yes we are... we are celebrating the fact that we all had lost XXX amount of pounds, the bartender was tripping and was just as excited about it as we were, Mary and Pam had their pics and they got so many props... the bartender was telling a bunch of people' "those gals over there have lost like 100 pounds a piece!' Everyone was amazed... one girl ran over to us who had lost 150 pounds with GBP who had no idea the convention was even in town. She stuck with us for about 10 minutes, and it was a reason to celebrate.

Now you have you issue (your monkey ) and Im sure everyone will respect that, you dont want to make an announcement than dont. But dont cross your arms and say forget about im not going.... thats just silly. Say guys, Im in but Im not wearing that shirt, thats your thing... not mine.

So with all of this said, are you still chosing not to go or are you with us?
I hope you go, with all of us there, Im sure someone is bound to win a boatload full of housewares that you and Stuart will need.

Smile Thanks Bridget

for understanding.. It means a lot to me. We all have our demons and that is mine. I guess I am just tired of being reminded every single freaking day of my weight. Helloooo I know I was fat.. I know I still have a ways to go.. but I just kind of want it like it was before.. when everyone knew I was fat but not many would comment on it. Back when my weight wasn't an issue for EVERYONE!!! Sorry I am screaming again.. LOL

Yes I am in girlfriend.. thank you for your kind words and understanding. Karen isn't wearing a picture either.. we will do the words though..

Love you guys!!! Thanks for allowing me the freedom to be myself..

Christina,
We love you just how you are fat, thin, purple or green. Do what feels right for you!!! I'm still not sure I want a before pic on my shirt. I think I'd like to go with "Hey Bob, this loser wants to win". Have an awesome day and I hope to see you tonight. Big hugs my friend! Love you.
