Lightbulb Secret Santa

Ok Guys.. as you know Christmas is coming up very quickly. In my family we usually do some type of secret santa gift exchange because there are so many of us. However, I have this new family and was thinking maybe we could do some type of secret santa gift exchange at the Christmas party.. like everyone can bring a gift that is suitable for male or female.. or we could pick names and buy a gift just for that one person??? We could either do it at the Christmas Party or at a different support group around that time afterwards at Outback??? What do you all think of that? Anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas, please accept my apologies for bringing this subject up. Who's in??

That sounds like a wonderful idea to me. May I suggest that we put a spending limit of maybe $15 so that no one feels pressured or opts out because of tight money during the holidays? Count me in.

Smile Money Limit

Pam,

I forgot to post that sorry.. thanks for bringing it up. I was thinking of a $5.00 or $10.00 limit. But we can all agree on a $$ amount I think. I would love to buy for all of you guys.. but it is not possible..

Thanks again ..

Smile Cool idea!

Now why didnt I think of that?

I say a $10.00 limit is a good one, we should do the exchange at the Christmas party at Dr. C's office. Make sure you guys bring it up at support group too ..... or maybe it would be a good idea for all of close buddies here to have a lil gathering of our own and do the exchange..... whatever happens, its a fabulous idea!

I am in. Hey, here is a thought too. Another group I am in exchanges Christmas ornaments for Christmas. Anyone like that idea? Makes it easier to figure out what to buy!

We also exchanged ornaments. I am in for any kind of gift exchange. This is going to be fun.

I want to do it too!! A $10 limit is a great idea. I just hope I can get to the meeting in December...now that I got a JOB, who knows!!!

Are we drawing names?? I like that idea. I say we put a deadline on who wants to participate. Have everyone who wants to do it reply to this post by a certain date, then put all the names in a hat and someone (I will volunteer for this since I live in another state! ) draw names for everyone that signed up. Then email the individual with the name of the person they will be buying a gift for. Whatcha ya'll think 'bout that??

Great idea, Kina!!!
