Default scaredd allll over again

About 5 minutes ago i started haveing really bad panic attacks with this reversal!!! Like what if i go into a coma or just anything? Great now im crying!! wtf!! I know i have to do this to save my self, but now i have to get over this anxity, i think as soon as i get there im gonna tell them to give them something to relax me!!! Or i might leave, well no i wont leave but would not be very idk what to say!!! i know this is normal, but revisions and reversals are not as common on this board!! The only thing that makes me happy is that my doc has done many of revisions and revresals!! But, i am still scared shitless!!! I am making my son go to to shcool that day and told him that when grandma gets off work she can bring him up there, my husband will be with my all day with my dad!!! I just didnt want my son going and something happeining and then him freaking out on me or his dad!! My son is haveing a very hard time with me having this done!! he has own comp and does his own research!!! He is almost 15 and prettty darn smart,!!! I know calm down everything will be ok!! I will be leaving my # with a few people on here for after surgery but if im way out of it!! I will in the Cam building At St.Louis Barnes Jewish Hospital!!Just one favor please send prayers for me on the 18th!!!! Thanks all so much, you have all been great supports to me!!! Love Laura

Laura,
I know my stock is not very high in your eyes right now, but please accept the calming energy I am sending you. You are in a scary place right now, and are having totally appropriate fears. Try to take slow deep breaths, and remember that if it is your time, it's your time, and nothing will change that. If it's not your time, then try not to freak yourself out needlessly. Love up your family, your DH, your son, and let them know all the things you love about them. Write them letters, tell them everything you want them to know, then seal them up and put them in your 'not to be touched unless things go south' box. When you wake up, you can decide what to do with the letters. It's a good way to get out all the things you want to say, which might be very helpful in keeping you calm.

It's very scary when things are not going well and you know you're staring down the Grim Reaper. But these machines of ours are pretty tough, and it actually takes a lot to bring down a human. I'm sure everything will go well. In your mind, tell yourself that you intend that this will go well and you will feel good again soon. Everyone here is pulling for you, Laura--you're not going into surgery alone!

Laura,

I will be thinking of you and sending you energy and prayers on the 18th.

Did you have this same anxiety prior to wls? Or is what you are going through now different?

I know I was a stressball and I wondered how I had even passed the mental eval. I felt like I had a split personality. This surgery is one of the most stressful things I have done in life and I can't imagine what you are going through now.

I'm going to light some candles and send prayers the days before as well.
