Cripes! Janey, I'm with Donna, hoping your doctor has his thinking hat on today to get you some relief. Enough is enough.
So you know, there is a virus going around that causes severe body aches and bad vomitting. I doubt that this is your problem, because you are having pain like before...but wanted to toss it out there. I felt like I was hit by a Mack truck this weekend, but no barfing for me.
I hope you can get the pain under control and keep it there. We need some GOOD news for you girl!

I went back on reglan this morning and I'm double dosing my pain meds until I get the pain under control. I don't think this is flu or a bug. This is the pain I've had since and before surgically reversal. I just want it to stop! I am hoping that with the antispasmotic meds, and reglan perhaps it will help. Right now I have no idea.. pain levels are over 10 right now. Thanks all for your concern, I'm hoping tohave some good news sooner than later, Janie

Awwwwwwwww Janie, I am so sorry to read that your still in such pain...Wish there was something I could say or do to take your pain away or at least make you feel human again. I sure hope someone can give you some answers. As you know from previous conversations that I am struggling with some pain and my weight loss, by far it doesn't sound like what you are going through but I know how doctors can be as all of my doctors basically have told me to live with! It is so frustrating...I hope you can find a good pain managament and get some relief quickly....
Sending you hugsssssssssssssss

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts, and prayers. I called the doctor back and asked him what I was suppose to do in level 10 pain? So he said to go to ER and he would call over and tell the attending doc I was coming. Not sure what fun tests I'll be in for, but I'm assuming it's all the fun GI tests! I'll be in touch with Paige if I get admitted. Janie

I truly think you should head to the ER. Don't wait on this. Please.

Sorry it's needed, but glad you are headed to the ER. I hope you have some answers, or at the very least, some better drugs!

Well, I took enough Lortab apparently... I woke up with my keys in my hand.
I was in no condition to drive myself... and I had nobody to take me. I was going to call an ambulance, but I was able to break the pain level. I think what brought all this on was the fact that the doctor is not giving me any more meds and I was rationing, and sent myself into a tailspin with pain. I am comfortable now.. and taking my meds every four hours. F**** this surgeon and his "rules" for pain meds. I think I'm going to be in pain for a while... at least 2.5 weeks after surgery is not enough time to heal. I should have researched all this when I used this asshole for a surgeon. I dunno I've had such a bad experience with this surgeon... I WOULD not recommend him for anything. Janie
