Janie - you and Paige (et al) have been in my thoughts a lot lately - probably more than I would have liked but that's maybe not a bad thing.

Know that we're all rooting for you...Hugs.

Janie... I've been reading your posts and have not known what to say to you --- I'm sorry doesn't seem to "do it..." and yet, I am sorry for what you've been through. There is an end in sight and you have all of us here holding your hand, wishing you well and praying!

Don't worry donna I'm on her list as a "sistah" and I'll keep everyone up to date.

She is going to do wonderfully... you know most of the people I've talked to that had a reversal have been very positive about it. Most said htey felt better within two weeks, eating food at 4 weeks and back to work quickly.

One lady was off for 3 years because of complications and was back to work 8 weeks after surgery...amazing

Laura what kind of problem are you having that you need a scope? Stricture, hard time getting food down? Let me know I can help you get that done.. if your doc is refusing.. go to any ER and tell them you can't keep anything down including water. And they should call a GI doc into scope you. I know how miserable it is to not be able to swallow. Keep us posted please! Thanks for the well wishes as well! Janie

Default Janie,

I'm so glad I came back to the board today. I see you are only 2 days away from your reversall.

I am excited for you and I'll be praying that it all goes smoothly. I have so much hope for you and this surgery and I just have a feeling that things will be so much better for you after the reversal.

I will be looking for updates from Paige and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))) and well wishes.

Janie,
I want to take the time today to wish you well, since I'll be on the OR train in a matter of just hours.....

I look forward to hearing from you and/or Paige that you have come thru your surgery with flying colors and that your new old stomach is happy as a clam!

Love you, Sweetie, and I wish you the very best!
Donna
