It just sounds so final with you saying you won't be posting much anymore, as if you are leaving. I'm just wondering if I'm taking it wrong or if you are not going to be here anymore because you don't want to be. I hope they schedule your surgery for very soon and you can finally have some relief from all of this misery you have been going through and you can become more healthy. Good luck hon and please keep us posted. Some of us really care about you and how you are doing. ((((((((BIG HUS)))))))))

AS usual Trina you are so much the supporter......
I will keep eveyone up to date on how she is doing if she isn't positng herself. J is pretty bitter right now... we just had a long conversation on another thread about levels of support or lack thereof.... of course the first thing that happens are a bundle of supportive comments...lol
Give her a couple of days to calm down....
To all the others... thank you for your kind comments as well.
Being in this position is not fun. Although I'm behind Janie in time frame I need to schedule my reversal as well very soon.

For all that you have been through, I am sorry. I am glad to hear that you are getting the reversal and hopefully this will resolve the problems you have been having. Keep in mind though that just because most of us have had bypass or some type of surgery, NOT all of us have. We have people here who are doing it on their own. We are still here for support, and as a post bypasser, your experiences are just as valuable to a new person doing research as the success stories. Your story is an important one, and people would love to know how this all comes together in a year or two...heck that you make it out of surgery ok. Reversal or not...your still part of this family. Best Wishes

Janie, I'm sorry to hear that it has come down to this for you but thankful that you have taken what has to be a very difficult step. You have struggled and tried everything. I so was thrilled awhile back when you seemed to have found the answer for you. I know this isn't the answer that you wanted. You really must have so much anger that it has come to this. It must be hard to read about others who have in some way breezed through the potential complications. I know I would be very angry not at anyone, just the situation. Take care Janie. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks and my thoughts will turn towards you on September 6. I hope you will have someone let us know how things went. You are part of this family and I do think you have a lot to offer this forum. It is important that you and others like you educate all of us here and all that enter these doors. Every story and life is important here....

I don't know what this means and probably don't want to know...lol but I know I have not been posting as much lately as I usually do. I have been going through some pretty ugly things in my life right now too and not all having to do with this surgery. Life must go on! Trying to hold all the corners together and keep the middle from bursting loose sometimes is a hard thing to do! I have felt like my life has been bursting at the seams lately and I have almost given up and then catch a new breath of air and go at it again. I can't give up. My eating is horrible, because it's hard to eat, so I just run and run and run until I'm so worn out that I have to stop or fall over! It seems like just when I see a light at the end of the tunnel, I realize it's a TRAINS HEADLIGHT coming at me! So I have to turn and back pedal and then start all over again. Know what I mean? In other words, three steps forward and 10 backwards. Okay, I'll stop whining. But anyway, I want Janie to know that I think about her alot and wonder how she is doing and I do you too Paige. I guess those PMs I have been meaning to get off to both of you should have happened alot sooner than now. I'm sorry if you feel let down by my support, but know I am always here for any of you, even if my life is falling apart and dropped around my feet. Some things are just more dang important than others and some things can wait til I can get to them, so if you ever need me, please don't ever hesitate to ask. I hope you know this goes without me saying...... I'm sorry you have felt bad. (((((HUGS)))))

Janie,
I hope this reversal brings you health. In the longrun this is the only important thing. I understand your bitterness and anger.............and can very well imagine mine would be every bit as strong. I wish you would stick around and let everyone help you through this......and afterwards support you in your continued efforts to be healthy. We really do care and would love to have you................you are part of our message board family.

Still important information for everyone
I think, beyond the fact that many of us have been worried about the two of you for months - I even asked my surgeon about this type of thing - we are interested in how you are doing - both of you, and want you to stay in touch.
I think a reversal is an important thing to discuss on this board. It would be wonderful to think that you two are the last two to ever have such complications from RNY, but you won't be. If you keep the information out there - somewhere such as here - not only will we be able to be there for you, your important information will be there for others.
No one who has not been in your shoes can truly understand what you're going through, but that doesn't mean we don't try. I am sure you both know that this board supports both of you and your increadably difficult decision to have a reversal. We want to continue to be here for you guys. You know - it may be pretty tough after this surgery - you may need somewhere to talk about it. This is a good place!
Hope you'll stick around. I see these reversals as part of the same process.

Wishing You All the Best
Janie, I am so sorry you're thinking of not posting much anymore - you are very much a part of this Forum, not in spite of but because of your experiences and the perspective that you can share with us. I wish you all the best with your September 6 reversal - I know this has been a terrible ordeal and I hope you get your life and your health back - you deserve it! Many blessings and good thoughts to you...
