Cool

You are all right. I see my surgeon on Thursday at 9:30. I don't want you to think I am a failure at this. Forget the Plastics for now. Its not what is important at this time. Me getting my Iron up is!!!
I am taking Adult Multi-Vitamins until I can afford stuff from Celebrate, Bariatric Advantage, or Bariatric Fusion. Right now the ones I am taking are made by VitaFusion....Adult ones.
I am going to speak to my surgeon about getting a B-12 shot as needed, too.

Mel,

How many of those multivitamins are you taking a day. Are you are taking calcium citrate too?

Mel, I'm glad you're getting some good vitamins. Like Corrine, I was wondering if you are taking any calcium? And did you get your iron yet? I hope so!

Hey girls!! I am going to speak with my doctor about the Iron Infusions on Thursday at my appointment at 9:30. I found some Calcium chews (for Adults made by VitaFusion). I just have to get the Iron situation dealt with now. I kinda want to do the Infusions, so I know I am absorbing all the Iron and things like that and getting the proper dose for my Anemia.

Mel, is it the calcium gummies from Vitafusion? 'Cause if it is, those contain tricalcium phosphate, which we don't absorb well at all. We really need calcium citrate. But I'm not sure Vitafusion makes calcium citrate supplements.

You might want to go ahead and start taking your iron supplement while you're waiting to get the infusions. No sense letting it get worse in the meantime, right? And you're going to need to take iron on an ongoing basis. They won't just want to give you iron infusions forever so you never have to take iron.

You cannot rely on gummy vitamins and infusions. You had to have been told that you were supposed to be on vitamins for the rest of your life prior to this surgery, if you couldn't handle the vitamin regiment... then maybe the surgery wasn't the best idea for you?

Like i previously stated, I wouldn't be looking into plastics if you cannot afford the proper nutrition for yourself. No need to "fix" something that you are ultimately ruining by not taking care of yourself.

Is your family at all around to help you? Do you live with them or on your own?

Mel,

2 Vitafusion adult multi gummies aren't even coming close to giving you what you need sweetheart.

Is Vitafusion gummy multivitamins and gummy calcium what your surgeon/NUT recommended?

Mel, concentrate on getting to your goal weight and get some stabilisation before considering PS. It can still be something to look forward to in the future.

a couple days ago you still hadn't even picked up the iron!! you have to take better care of yourself. this is scary stuff. no you can't just get iron infusions for forever - you have to take it by mouth as well, the infusion is just to get you out of the gutter.

also - had to add - its a lot cheaper to take the vitamins and stay out of the hospital. if you are paying for part of your healthcare, it adds up really quick when you don't take care of yourself!
