8 Months Post Tummy Tuck
Greetings All,
I'm pretty much satisfied with the results of my tummy tuck. (Included muscle tightening) My tummy is pretty flat on most days. However, for the past week I've experienced noticable swelling. Is it normal to still experience some form of swelling at 8 months post op. It's more of a bloated look than the initial swelling. (The top of my bellly appears bloated.) I also appear very bloated after I eat. Again, it will only last a few days, and then it's flat again. Any thoughts? In addition, I've finally built up enough nerve to post a post tummy tuck pic. (Seven pounds of skin removed during procedure. My surgeon indicated that I did not have a lot of body fat, therefore lipo wasn't necessary.)

I get bloating after I eat and I can certainly see it when I look at my stomach. I just think it is more noticable because my abdomen is nice and flat after my tummy tuck.
I think you look great!

Sue,
You hit the nail on the head. I experienced swelling from the beginning, up until about a month ago. I've been so pleased with the results. I didn't realize it at the time, but apperantly this was gas! Yep, I almost blew my five year old daughter clear out of the bed last night. And walaaaah, the flat tummy that I've grown to love and adore is back! I hope this isn't tmi.

Your tummy looks wonderful. I can't wait to be showing mine off. I still have 34 lbs to loose before I can consider that, but I is a goal to work towards. But congrats to you!

8 months post tummy tuck
Wow your tummy looks great! Could you please share who did your tummy tuck? Did you get insurance to pay for any of it? I am looking for a surgeon.
Thank you
