Good Luck and happiness as you transform!

Hey Rain! You are correct there are 2 different names/codes for this surgery. Juat met with my surgeon this morning and he is doing the extra tighting for me since this is for my low back/spine issues, and I am paying for the breast lift out of pocket.

My surgery will be 11/10 and I will be staying overnight for this procedure.

Well...my Ins approved my tummy tuck on 9/16!!! I can't believe it! I am also going ahead and paying out of pocket for a breast lift. My PS is scheduled for 11/12. Pushing to lose another 15lbs before then.

I just had braces put on last month now PS...gee whiz...what a year of make-over. LOL

Meet with my plastic surgeon in the AM again, to go over the details before I go under the knife. I am soooo excited!

Any words of wisdom?
Congratulations Paula!!! I'm so happy for you!! I don't really have anything to add to what others have shared with you but feel free to send any questions my way.

I had an abdominoplasty and the breast lift. I've been very pleased with the results and grateful that I was able to get my insurance to cover both. The only they I had to pay out of pocket was to have my abdominal muscles tightened too.

Let us know how things go!

Beth, since you, too got approved, what insurance did you have and under what grounds did they agree to do the surgery?

Thumbs up I did it!!!

I did it! Tummy tuck and breasts lifted yesterday! My surgeon took off 10 lbs!!! WOW! I have one drain and feel pretty good. Pain meds keep the pain down.
I am so thankful that my INS paid for the tummy tuck part! This will now complete my WL journey!
