My thighs are lousy too. I did weights 5 times a week & 4 hours of tennis a week with several half hour bike rides too for over a year. The only person to tell the difference was my masseuse...she could feel the muscle tone. The skin won't retract no matter how much exercise you do. Unless you're very young & didn't gain then lose a big amount of weight, surgery is the only option, I believe. Even then, I've had a thigh/lower body lift, & I'm STILL flabby. When I stop running, my thighs keep jiggling for a couple of seconds. Do this....get naked & get into a push up position. Look at your skin on your thighs, tummy & breasts. Does it hang quite a bit? Can you grab handfuls of it & lift it up several inches? I feel your pain. I won't wear shorts any higher than just above my knees. I have pics of me on my blog
Google if you're interested. I wear long boardshorts over my bathers. I'm going to try several surgeons to see if they'll lipo as much fat as possible, then tighten the skin again. I've been thru so much already, but my life is effected negatively by my thighs. I'm a fit 41 y.o. yet my legs look like and 80 y.o. Best of luck. :-(
