Default What questions should I ask

I have my first meeting with one of many plastic surgeons today. I am interested in a lower body lift and for him to do something with my flat saggy boobs. I know some questions like, do you have experience with wls patients, down time and of course cost. I know by my insurance companies requirements that none of this will be covered by insurance. I also know that cash speaks in this economy so I am going to ask about that as well. Anything else?

Default See the pictures

I think what I would do is definitely ask to see the before and afters of people they've done plastix on in the past. My PS had never worked with WLS patients before but a good PS is a good PS... I saw lots of before and afters; one in particular was of a woman who had lost a great deal of weight but not through the tool of WLS. Also, check on-line about their reputation. I saw one PS who seemed 'okay' until I did a check of him on-line... his overall rating was 2.4 out of 5, and many comments like 'lousy follow up', etc.

Good luck with your appointment and let us know how it goes!

Hugs,
Kimberly
